A RESTING ELECTROCARDIOGRAM (ECG)

A resting electrocardiogram (ECG), also known as a 12-lead ECG, is a common test that measures the electrical activity of your myocardium. During this test, small electrodes are attached to your chest, arms and legs to monitor the regular impulses that direct your heart's contraction.
